1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That this writ application is being filed for issuance of an appropriate writ for quashing of the order contained in Letter dated 29th April, 2024, issued by the Under Secretary to the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, whereby the application of the petitioner for grant of Freedom Fighter pension under the Swatantrata Sainik Samman Pension Scheme, 1980 has been rejected and for further directing the respondents to grant Freedom Fighter pension to the petitioner under the

Patna High Court CWJC No.16227 of 2024(2) dt.23-10-2024 2/2 Swatantrata Sainik Samman Pension Scheme, 1980."

2. Considering the nature of relief, sought for in the present writ petition, I deem it fit and proper to grant liberty to the petitioner to approach the respondents for redressal of his aforesaid grievances, if any.

3. Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
