In this case, the petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Rajeev Nagar P.S. Case No. 270 of 2017 registered for offences under sections 420, 406, 379/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per allegation made in the First Information Report, the Informant is the Proprietor of Aasha Furniture having its Godwn at Rajeev Nagar. Sanjay Ram is the In-charge of the Godown for last six years. The Informant had a hunch that something wrong was going on in his Godown, on inspection, it was found that huge quantity of furniture were missing from there. Thereafter, the Informant lodged a written report against Sanjay Ram.

No.12017 of 2018(3) dt.19-04-2018 2/2 The accused Sanjay Ram was arrested who, in his statement, disclosed the name of Deepak Kumar from whose house, some stolen articles were recovered. The co-accused Deepak Kumar, in his confessional statement, has taken the name of Sonu Kumar, the present petitioner, to whom the material was given for sale.

Looking to the entire facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner, namely, Sonu Kumar is rejected.
