2. The present writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents for making payment of crops (Paddy) of 310 quintals of Rs. 5,14,600/- which was purchased by the respondent concerned of the Vayapar Mandal, Dumra on 13.03.2015.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that despite the direction given by the Public Grievance Redressal Officer, DistrictSitamarhi by his order dated 30.11.2016 to the District Co-operative Officer, Sitamarhi to dispose of the petitioner's representation within 15 days thereof and the petitioner having approached the District Co-

Patna High Court CWJC No.11208 of 2017 dt.19-02-2018 operative Officer, Sitamarhi for payment of the dues, the matter has merely been forwarded to the Co-operative Extension Officer, Dumara, District- Sitamarhi for necessary action but remains unresolved and the petitioner has not received payment of his dues.

4. Learned counsel for the State appears and has been heard.

5. Having regard to the nature of the grievance of the petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the District Co-operative Officer, Sitamarhi (respondent no. 4) to take steps and pass appropriate orders for redressal of the grievance of the petitioner after granting him an opportunity of hearing in accordance with law, expeditiously and in any event preferably within the period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this judgment.
