Learned counsel for the petitioner is permitted to make necessary correction in the petition. 3.

This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Alamganj P.S. Case No.302 of 2022 registered for the offence punishable under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is accused of killing his wife by slitting her neck. The son of the petitioner is the sole witness in the case. The petitioner is in custody since 26.04.2022. 5.

Learned senior counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was under acute depression and he, after killing his wife, also tried to commit suicide but he survived.

Considering the nature of allegation levelled against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant the petitioner privilege of regular bail for the present. Accordingly, this bail application is rejected.
