JUSTICE SHIVAJI PANDEY ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 20-09-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

In this case, the petitioner is claiming Rs.2,72,376/- along with 10% interest for the work done by him. The petitioner was granted the work of sinking 52 borings at the selected placed, which the petitioner has completed, but the payment has not been made.

Patna High Court CWJC No.10934 of 2017 dt.20-09-2017 2/2 It has been submitted by the petitioner that though the money was received by the Collector during that period, but the payment has not been made.

Let the petitioner file a detailed representation before the Deputy Development Commissioner, Begusarai, who will be obliged to examine the claim of the petitioner and make payment of admitted dues to the petitioner along with interest at the rate of 8% per annum. If the Deputy Development Commissioner is not agreeable to the claim of the petitioner, in such circumstance, he will be obliged to hear the petitioner and pass a reasoned order in accordance with law. The entire exercise should be completed by the Deputy Development Commissioner, Begusarai, within a period of three months from the date of filing of representation by the petitioner.

With the aforesaid observations and directions, this writ application is disposed of.
