2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 103(1), 61(2), 238(a) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

3. As per F.I.R., niece of the informant went missing on 13.05.2025. During search, informant came to know that her niece was killed by the named accused persons and her dead body was thrown in river Ganga.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is aunt of the deceased and she is simply victim of over implication. Informant is not an eye witness of the occurrence and she has been made accused only on suspicion. Petitioner along with her husband resides separately since 2012, after partition and she has got no concern with the deceased.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.70262 of 2025(3) dt.11-11-2025 2/2 F.I.R. has been lodged after inordinate delay of four days without any plausible explanation which itself raises doubt over veracity of the prosecution case. Petitioner is lady and claims clean antecedent.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the bail application and submitted that petitioner is named in the F.I.R. and during course of investigation, it has come that it is a case of honour killing.

6. Considering the nature of accusation and other facts and circumstances of the case, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is refused.
