The sole petitioner , who is in custody since 17.02.2017 in Maheshkhunt P.S. Case No. 21 of 2017 registered for the offence under section 290 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Section 30 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016 has prayed for grant of bail.

It was submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that on an accusation of recovery of about 33 liter of foreign liquor from a rickshaw petitioner has been made accused. By way of referring to the statement made in paragraph no. 3 of the petition he submits that petitioner is having clean antecedent and has remained in custody for sufficient time.

No.39385 of 2017 (2) dt.19-08-2017 2/2 Considering the nature of accusation, clean antecedent of the petitioner and period of custody , let the petitioner Sugam Kumar be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand ) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 3rd Additional Sessions Judge, Khagaria / concerned court in connection with Maheshkhunt P.S. Case No. 21 of 2017.
