The petitioner seeks direction to the Circle Officer, Bagaha-1, District West Champaran to correct the Jamabandi on the basis of the letter issued by the District Rehabilitation Officer, West Champaran by which the father of the petitioner, Nakul Devnath was allotted certain lands and his name was mutated but some lands allotted to the father of the petitioner was later on acquired for construction of canal for the purpose of irrigation and instead of acquisition of the lands allotted to the father of the petitioner, some other lands were allotted to the father of the petitioner. The petitioner filed petition before the

Patna High Court CWJC No.20324 of 2019(2) dt.17-10-2019 2/2 District Rehabilitation Officer. The District Rehabilitation Officer by Letter No.55, dated 01.11.2009 informed the Circle Officer to look into the matter and pass necessary order but even after lapse of more than ten years, the Circle Officer, Bagaha-1 did not pass any order on the petition of the petitioner. The petitioner also filed petition on 15.07.2019 (Annexure-4). Learned counsel for the State submits that the Circle Officer can be directed to pass order in accordance with law on the petition (Annexure-4) of the petitioner.

Having considered the facts, I dispose of this writ petition with direction to the Circle Officer, Bagaha-1, West Champaran to pass order in accordance with law on the petition of the petitioner within four months from the date of receipt of this order.

Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid direction.
