JUSTICE BIRENDRA KUMAR ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 07-09-2017 Heard learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner and the State-respondent.

Husband of the petitioner was the District Magistrate posted at Buxar when he committed suicide at some other place. After death of the husband, the petitioner prayed for handing over the belongings of the family of the petitioner including of her husband from the official respondents or circuit house of Buxar where the deceased had stayed for few days.

There is no reason that the respondents would refuse to release the personal belongings.

WJC No.1582 of 2017 dt.07-09-2017 2 /2 reservation in allowing the prayer of the petitioner provided an inventory would be prepared by the present District Magistrate or under his supervision by any Magistrate and the articles of the petitioner or her husband be made over along with the list of articles. A receiving whereof shall be retained by the District Magistrate for future reference.

With the aforesaid observation, this writ application stands disposed of.

The aforesaid exercise must be completed within three weeks from today.
