The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence under Section 307 & other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, on 30.05.2022, while the informant alongwith others were sleeping in the house after dinner, at about 10:30 PM, all the accused persons came and started assaulting them. This petitioner is alleged to have caught hold of mother of the informant.

It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that specific accusation of assault is against other co-accused persons. Petitioner is only alleged to have caught hold of mother of the informant. Petitioner has got clean antecedent. Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail.

No.71644 of 2022(2) dt.23-03-2023 2/2 Considering the nature of accusation and clean antecedent of petitioner, in the event of arrest/surrender within a period of six weeks from today, let the above named petitioner be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M. - 1st, Nawada in connection with Nawada (Kadirganj) P.S. Case No. 536 of 2022, subject to condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
