This is an application for bail in connection with Kathaiya P.S. Case No. 04 of 2017 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Allegation is of dowry death and the petitioner appears to be husband of the deceased.
Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that the allegations are general and omnibus in nature and has been falsely implicated. The petitioner is in custody for nine months and now charge has been framed.
Heard learned APP also.
Having heard both sides and in view of the allegations, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. However, since
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.47067 of 2017 (3) dt.17-10-2017 2/2 charge has been framed learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial and try to conclude it within a period of nine months. With this observation, this application is dismissed. (Vinod Kumar Sinha, J) N.H./- U T
