2. The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Ballia P.S. Case No. 181 of 2023 registered for offences under Sections 147, 148, 341, 323, 324, 504, 307, 379 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, petitioners had participated in the assault of the victim. They had caught hold the injured and the co-accused had fired at the victim.

4. Considering the allegations levelled against the petitioners, in my opinion this is not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

5. The application for anticipatory bail is, accordingly, dismissed.

6. The petitioners must surrender in the court below within a period of four weeks from today and seek regular bail.

7. If the petitioners surrender and pray for regular bail, the Court below will consider and disposed off the same on the same date considering the fact that the petitioners are not the assailant of the victim.
