2. The present application has been filed for seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Kesariya P.S. Case No. 336 of 2023 registered for the offences under Sections 304(B), 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. It is a case of 'dowry death'.

4. Petitioner is the father-in-law of the deceased. Thrust of the allegation is against husband of the deceased, who is already in custody. Petitioner is separate in mess & property and has got no concern with the affairs of deceased and her husband. The allegation of torture and demand of dowry is general and omnibus.

5. Learned APP for the State vehemently opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the above named petitioner, in the event of his arrest /surrender within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten Thousand Only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, East Champaran at Motihari in connection with Kesariya P.S. Case No. 336 of 2023, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) Harsh/ U T
