In this case, the petitioners are seeking regular bail in connection with Makhdumpur (TehtaO.P.) P.S. Case No. 99

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.70619 of 2022(3) dt.19-04-2023 2/2 of 2022, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 363 of the Indian Penal Code and later on charge sheet has been submitted for under sections 363, 366(A), 376 (iii), 376, 372, 373, 370 (iii), 467, 468, 471, 420, 120 (B) of the Indian Penal Code and 4, 6, 8, 10 POCSO Act and 08 and 09 of Immoral Trafficking Act.

At the very outset, it has been informed by the learned counsel for the informant that six witnesses out of eleven have been examined and trial is going on with considerable pace. He has further submitted that bail applications of other co-accused persons have been rejected by coordinate Benches of this Court.

While rejecting the prayer for bail of other coaccused persons, the coordinate Bench has directed the trial court to expedite the trial and conclude the same at the earliest. With the same observation, these bail petitions are disposed of. It is expected that the trial shall be concluded within a period of nine months.
