2. The present writ petition has been filed for the following reliefs:

That this is an application for issuance of the appropriate writ/ writs, order/orders or direction/directions for quashing the notice dated 31.03.2023 issued by the Secretary, Bihar Staff Selection Commission, Patna for the appointment on post of Group IV under the State and further pray that directing the Respondent authorities to appoint of D.D.T sprayer worker, under the District Siwan from the family prepared Panel of 2013-14 in the light of C.W.J.C. No. 20890 of 2014 order dated 21.04.2016 C.W.J.C. No. 9161 of 2017 Order dated 14.03.2018, C.W.J.C. No. 11049 of 2023, Order dated 19.02.2023 and Notification dated 22.09.2023 vide Patranak 17975 issued by General Administration Department, Govt. of Bihar, Patna.

Further pray after appointment

Patna High Court CWJC No.17313 of 2024(2) dt.18-11-2024 3/3 to grant all consequential benefit to the petitioners and further pray for grant of any other relief(s) for which the petitioners found entitled to be also given in the facts and circumstances of the case.

Without delving into the merit of the case, learned Advocate for the petitioners contended that in similar circumstances, some of the similarly situated persons approached before this Court in CWJC No. 11049 of 2023. However, at the outset, the writ petitioners did not press the writ petition and sought liberty to approach before the respondent authorities for redressal of the aforesaid grievance. The petitioners seek disposal of the present writ petition in similar terms.

4. Learned Advocate for the Bihar Staff Selection Commission submitted before this Court that pursuant to the notice impugned, the written examination has already been conducted and, as such, the matter has become infructuous.

5. Be that as it may, considering the prayer of the petitioners, the writ petition stands disposed off with the liberty to the petitioners to approach before the respondent authorities, if their grievance still subsists.
