The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Special Case No. 85 of 2017 arising out of Patliputra P.S. Case No. 189 of 2017 registered under Sections 20 and 22 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. Regard being had to the allegation made in the FIR that from a gumti belonging to the petitioner, 37 packets of ganja weighing 100 gm and 5 packets of cigarette filled with

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.48563 of 2017 (2) dt.18-10-2017 ganja were recovered, I am not inclined to grant pre-arrest bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the application filed under Section 438 of the Cr.P.C. is rejected.
