JUSTICE BIBEK CHAUDHURI ORAL ORDER 18-07-2025 In CWJC No. 11986 of 2024, the petitioner impleaded the Chairman, Bihar State Electricity Board as Respondent No. 1. Respondent Nos. 2 to 4 are the Secretary, the Chief Engineer and the Sectional Officer of Bihar State Electricity Board.

2. By filing an application in the instant contempt application for modification, it is stated by the learned counsel for the petitioners that the Bihar State Electricity Board has already been dissolved and the appropriate authority is Bihar State Power (Holding) Company Limited and its subsidiaries.

The learned counsel for the writ petitioner has also filed an application praying for modification of the cause title of the writ petition, impleading General Manager (HR/Adm), Bihar State Power (Holding) Company Limited, Managing Director, South Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited and General Manager-cum-Chief Engineer, PESU Area Sadar in place of original respondent nos. 2 to 4.

4. Since the above numbered respondents themselves filed an application for modification of the order by introducing the names of the Chairman and other members of Bihar State Power (Holding) Company Limited as respondents, the cause title of CWJC No. 11986 of 2024 be modified to such extent as described in paragraph no.4 of the reply filed by the writ petitioner/respondent herein.

5. The instant petition is disposed of.
