The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Complaint Case No. 1968 of 2018 registered under Sections 498A, 323, 504 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code and 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The accusation is of torturing of complainant/opposite party no. 2 by her husband and in-laws due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry and removing her from matrimonial home snatching personal belongings.

Submission is that petitioner is the mother-in-law of the complainant/opposite party no. 2 and she has falsely been implicated in this case with ulterior motive without any specific

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of surrender/arrest, within a period of four weeks from today, in connection with Complaint Case No. 1968 of 2018 shall be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, VIII, Bhagalpur, or the successor Court subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Criminal Procedure Code.
