The petitioner in the present case is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Kotwali (Adampur) P.S. Case No. 374/2017 registered for offences punishable under Sections 409, 420, 467, 468 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in fact the petitioner was appointed on compassionate ground and there was no requirement of B.Sc. Part III marks.
On the other hand, learned Vigilance counsel submits that on the direction of the Hon'ble High Court in a Public Interest Litigation this case has been registered along with other cases in
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.50663 of 2017 (2) dt.18-10-2017 2/2 which the Vigilance is enquiring about use of fake marks sheets by some of the employees in order to get their appointment. The petitioner is one of them as he had submitted a forged marks sheet of B.Sc. Part III for purpose of his appointment. In the circumstances stated above, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner in connection with Kotwali (Adampur) P.S. Case no. 374/2017.
The application is dismissed.
