The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Narpatganj (Ghurna) P. S. Case No. 16 of 2017 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 342, 354 (B) of the Indian Penal Code.
Allegedly, the petitioner tried to commit rape of the informant but due to cry of the informant, her sister, mother and others came and then the petitioner fled away. Submission is of false implication and that the petitioner is a man of clean antecedent, he has respect in the society, the informant is a lady of bad character and tried to extort money with false allegation and as such the the petitioner deserves sympathetic consideration.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.8106 of 2018(2) dt.21-02-2018 2/2 Learned APP opposes the prayer of pre-arrest bail. In the facts and circumstances stated above, considering the allegation attributed against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant privilege of pre-arrest bail to the petitioner and accordingly, his such prayer stands rejected.
