JUSTICE VIKASH JAIN ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 20-02-2018 The present writ petition has been filed for a direction to the Licensing Authority-cum-S.D.O., Sadar, Darbhanga as well as the learned Chairman, District Selection Committee of District Darbhanga for issuance of P.D.S. licence on compassionate ground.

2. At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it will suffice if the petitioner is permitted to file appropriate representation before the Sub-Divisional Officer, Sadar, Darbhanga in connection with her application for grant of P.D.S. license on compassionate basis for redressal of her grievances raised in the present writ petition, in which event, the present writ petition need not be pressed on merits.

4. Having regard to the nature of the grievances and the stand of the petitioner, the present writ petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh representation before the Sub-Divisional Officer, Sadar, Darbhanga (respondent no. 3) for redressal of her grievances. If any such representation is filed within a period of two weeks from today, the same shall be considered and disposed of expeditiously and preferably within a further period of two months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this judgment in accordance with law.
