The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Amarpur P.S. Case No. 648 of 2018 (G.R. No. 4056 of 2019), registered under Section 363/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Submission is that offence is regarding kidnapping of the son of the informant, Guddu Mastana, against two unknown. In course of investigation, the police recorded the statement of one Md. Karu, who happens to be the brother of the informant and father-in-law of the petitioner, in which he has stated that the son of the informant, perhaps, has been kidnapped by this petitioner. Md. Karu, who is father-in-law of the petitioner has disclosed the name of the petitioner because his daughter has filed the case under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code against the petitioner. Further, submission is that the petitioner
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.68990 of 2019(3) dt.18-02-2020 2/2 is in custody since 01.07.2019 and the police has already submitted the charge sheet.
Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, above named be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Amarpur P.S.
