2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 103(1) and 3(5) of the BNS.

3. As per the prosecution case, this petitioner along with co-accused Rohit punched in the stomach of the informant's son as a result of which, he died during treatment.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. There is no direct eye witness to the alleged occurrence. Petitioner claims clean antecedent and is in custody since 20.04.2025.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposes the bail application and submits that petitioner is one of the assailant and his name was disclosed by the deceased.

6. Considering the nature of accusation, prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. However, since petitioner is in custody since 20.04.2025, Trial Court is directed to expedite and conclude the trial, preferably, within a period of one year from the date of receipt/production of copy of this order.
