2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Ekma P.S. Case No. 301 of 2021 dated 25.07.2021 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304B, 498A read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner and the co-accused persons are alleged to have tortured the informant's daughter mentally and physically due to non-fulfillment of demand dowry, as a result of which, she died during the course of treatment at PMCH on 02.07.2021.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.71600 of 2025(2) dt.03-11-2025 2/3 that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. There is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner who is the husband of the deceased. The petitioner neither demanded any dowry nor tortured the informant's daughter. The petitioner has no concern with the alleged offence. The petitioner has two criminal antecedents as stated in para 3 of the bail petition. The petitioner is in custody since 16.07.2025.

Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the bail petition of the petitioner and submitted that the petitioner is the husband of deceased and there is specific and direct allegation against him of committing torture and demanding dowry. The deceased has died in an unnatural circumstances within seven years of marriage at her matrimonial home. The Post-mortem report shows that the deceased died due to shock & haemorrhage caused by hard & blunt object. Earlier the anticipatory bail petition of the petitioner was rejected by the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 01.07.2025 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 3901 of 2025.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the heinous nature of offence against the petitioner, this court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and the same is rejected in connection with Ekma P.S. Case No.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.71600 of 2025(2) dt.03-11-2025 3/3 301 of 2021, pending in the Court of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-1, Saran.

7. The application stands rejected.
