The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in connection with Sono P.S. Case No. 284 of 2017 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a), 41 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act. After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present petition with a liberty to approach the concerned court for grant of regular bail. Accordingly, it is directed that if the petitioner surrenders before the concerned court within a period of four weeks from today, the concerned court shall hear the plea of the petitioner for grant of regular bail and dispose of the same on the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.10993 of 2018 (2) dt.27-02-2018 2/2 same day, considering the fact that the petitioner herein is merely owner of the said vehicle and, in fact, he had given the vehicle to the co-accused Umesh Paswan and Pawan Paswan on hire and they are the persons who are responsible for recovery of the illicit liquor.
The petition is disposed of as withdrawn.
