The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Tajpur P.S. Case No.163 of 2017 for allegedly having committed the offence under Section 414/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned Senior Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that only because of the statement made that at some remote point of time, a vehicle had been recovered from the petitioner, the petitioner has been saddled with the allegation in connection with the present case as well. Having considered the entire facts and circumstances

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.16553 of 2018 (2) dt.05-04-2018 2/2 and the remoteness of the allegations made against the petitioner and that he has got no criminal antecedents, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Samastipur, in connection with Tajpur P.S. Case No.163 of 2017, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
