The present application has been filed for modification application of order dated 20.05.2022 passed in Cr. Misc. No.69327 of 2021 to the extent of extending the period of surrender.

On the grounds mentioned in the modification application and in the interest of justice, the period to surrender is extended by six weeks from today in connection with Government (Excise) Complaint Case No.143 C2 of 2018, pending in the court of learned Additional Session's Judge-II-cum-Special Judge, (Excise Act) Begusarai, subject to deposit of Rs.2000/- (Rs. Two Thousand) in the Victim Compensation Fund, Bihar.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.19461 of 2023(2) dt.29-03-2023 2/2 The order dated 20.05.2022 is modified to the extent as indicated above.

Accordingly, this modification application stands disposed of.
