In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Complaint Case No.13-C/19, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 342, 323, 504 & 498A of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

Allegation against the co-accused including the petitioner is to have tortured mentally and physically for nonfulfillment of demand of dowry, however, counsel for the petitioner submits that she is mother-in-law of the complainant.
