ABHISHEK REDDY ORAL ORDER 18-09-2025 Without going into the merits or demerits of the case, the present writ petition is disposed of at the stage of admission with the consent of both the parties.

2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the father of the petitioner was a PDS dealer and he died on 05.01.2012. Learned counsel submits that the father of the petitioner was below the age of 58 years and immediately after his demise the mother of the petitioner has applied for appointment as PDS dealer under the compassionate ground, however till date no decision has been taken at the said application. Learned counsel submits that the petitioner after

Patna High Court CWJC No.15940 of 2024(2) dt.18-09-2025 2/2 attaining majority has applied to the authority on 07.08.2024 (Annexure P/4) and till date no decision has been taken.

Having regard to the above made submission, the present writ petition is disposed of directing the District Magistrate, i.e., Respondent No. 3 to take a suitable decision on the application dated 07.08.2024 made by the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Any order passed shall be communicated to the party.

4. With the above observations, the CWJC stands disposed of.
