The present application has been filed for modification of order dated 09.01.2018 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 62927 of 2017 by which the petitioners were granted anticipatory bail in connection with Bihta P.S. Case No. 304 of 2017, corresponding to Spl. Case (Excise) No. 1314 of 2017, pending in the court of learned 8th Additional District & Sessions Judge, Patna-cumSpecial Judge (Excise), Patna. The petitioners were directed to surrender in the court below within a period of six weeks from the date of order dated 09.01.2018 and furnish bail bond. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that due to some unavoidable reason, the petitioners could not surrender in

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.14235 of 2018 (2) dt.22-03-2018 2/2 the court below in time and furnish bail bond. Learned counsel for the petitioners prays for further six weeks' time so that the petitioners could surrender in the court below and furnish bail bond.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, six weeks' further time is granted to the petitioners to surrender and furnish bail bond in the court below.

The order dated 09.01.2018 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 62927 of 2017 is modified to the extent as indicated above. The modification application is allowed.
