The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sangrampur P.S. Case No. 188 of 2019, registered for offence punishable under Sections 295A and 298 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 67A of the Information Technology Act. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case on the basis of suspicion. Further submission is that there is no cogent evidence or material to connect the petitioner with the alleged offence. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 10.08.2019.
