The petitioners apprehend their arrest in Sigori P.S. case No. 131 of 2015 under Section 498A/34 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. The informant alleged that she was married to Mukesh Yadav, S/o Rambali Yadav, in the year 2013 but her husband and other in-laws began to demand dowry and also assaulted her.
The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners are maternal father-in-law and mother-in-law of the informant and they have no manner of concern with the family affairs of the informant and her husband.
Considering the facts aforesaid and the nature of allegations made against the petitioners, the above named
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.10450 of 2017 (2) dt.15-03-2017 2/2 petitioners, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, are directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sub-divisional Judicial Magistrate, Danapur, Patna in Sigori P.S. Case No. 131 of 2015, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
