JUSTICE SATYAVRAT VERMA ORAL ORDER 14-12-2022 Heard learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner and learned Central Government Counsel for the Union of India. Let the defect(s), if any, be removed within a period of four weeks.

The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 8(C), 20, 25 and 29 of the N.D.P.S. Act.

This is the second attempt of the petitioner to seek bail as earlier his bail application was rejected by order dated 25.05.2022 in Cr. Misc. No. 2642 of 2022 on the ground that 994 Kgs. of Ganja was recovered from the Tata Hyva Dumper from which the petitioner was also arrested along with other accused persons.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.70544 of 2022(2) dt.14-12-2022 2/2 Learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner submits that the trial till date has not commenced.

The learned trial court is directed to ensure that the trial is completed expeditiously.

The Court is not inclined to release the petitioner on bail in connection with Narcotics Control Bureau No. 24 of 2021, Aurangabad pending in the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge (N.D.P.S.), Aurangabad /successor Court.

Hence, prayer for bail is rejected.
