JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 04-04-2023 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. Petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Jagdishpur P.S. Case No. 535 of 2021 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 307 of the Indian Penal Code .

As per the prosecution case, petitioner is said to have fired upon the informant, as a result of which the informant sustained firearm injury at the right knee.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that a scuffle took place between two groups of boys for playing cricket in which the injured sustained injury. Petitioner has been implicated in this case due to village politics. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner.
