JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 15-10-2019 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the counsel appearing on behalf of the State as well as C.B.S.E. The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ application is inaction on the part of C.B.S.E. in the matter of correction of name of son of the petitioner which was wrongly recorded as "Yash Aishwarya" instead of "Yash Aishwaryaa". Learned counsel appearing on behalf of C.B.S.E. submits that the C.B.S.E. is helpless unless there is appropriate correction carried out in the record of the school in question i.e. the Delhi Public School, Patna correct in the name requires

Patna High Court CWJC No.20690 of 2019(2) dt.15-10-2019 2/2 certain formality to be completed.

Considering the nature of correction i.e. addition of letter 'a' in the name the son of the petitioner, the Court directs the Delhi Public School, Patna to make necessary correction in the name of son of the petitioner within a fortnight from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order and thereafter request the CBSE for follow up correction and on such request the CBSE will take appropriate decision for correction in the name as the kind of correction is only typographical error which does not warrant any serious application of mind except addition of letter 'a'.

With the aforesaid, the present writ application stands disposed of.
