The petitioner is accused in connection with Misc. Case No. 20 of 2017, registered under Section 20 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The accusation is of recovery of 30 bottles each containing 300 ml of Nepali liquor and one bottle containing 180 ml, of Indian made foreign liquor from the bag, which was carried by this petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 16.02.2017.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.12249 of 2017 (2) dt.18-03-2017 Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Birpur, in connection with Misc. Case No. 20 of 2017. Out of two sureties, one surety must be the close relative of the petitioner.
