14-03-2018 Eight petitioners have approached this Court with a prayer to grant anticipatory bail in Jaynagar P.S. Case No. 366 of 2017 registered for offence under Sections 147, 148, 149, 447, 341, 342, 323, 324 and 307 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act, 1959, mainly on the ground that number of other accused persons have been extended the privilege of anticipatory bail.

However, on going through paragraph - 3 of the petition, it is evident that all the petitioners are having criminal antecedent and considering the fact that petitioners are accused

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.7059 of 2018(3) dt.14-03-2018 2/2 in other cases and having criminal antecedent as well as in view of nature of accusation, the petitioners may not be treated at par with other accused persons, who have been extended the privilege of anticipatory bail.

Considering the antecedent, I am not inclined to pass favourable order.

The prayer for grant of anticipatory bail of all the petitioners stands dismissed.
