2. The petitioner apprehends her arrest in connection with Beldaur P.S. Case No. 205 of 2025, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 281 and 125 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Section30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Amendment Act, 2022.
3. On the fateful day, the informant received an information that a motorcycle rider was driving the motorcycle recklessly, which hit a woman and caused injury to her. On the aforesaid information, the police has seized the motorcycle bearing registration no. BR34V6316 and recovered 62.08 liters of country made liquor.

Learned Advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is a woman and only on account of she being the registered owner of the motorcycle in question, her name has been implicated in this case. During the course of investigation no materials have collected, suggesting the complicity of the petitioner in crime. It has been submitted that it is the husband of the petitioner, namely Laxman Mahto, who used to ride the motorcycle. On the fateful day, the motorcycle was taken away by one of the neighbours and the petitioner was not acquainted with the fact that it has ever been used for any illicit purpose.
5. On the other hand, learned Advocate for the State opposed the pre-arrest bail application.

Regard being had to the submissions made on behalf of the parties and considering the nature of accusation and the fact the petitioner is a woman and there is no other material, save and except she being owner of the motorcycle in question, coupled with her fair antecedent, let the petitioner above named be released on bail, in the event of her arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two
