JUSTICE SANJAY PRIYA ORAL ORDER 24-04-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in Chand P.S. Case No. 196 of 2016 instituted for the offence under Sections420, 467, 468, 469, 385, 387, 471, 472, 504, 506, 120B of the Indian Penal Code.

As per paragraph-3 of the petition, the petitioner has criminal antecedent. From the written report itself, it appears that the petitioner claims himself to be giving loan to the poor without interest and has given Rs. 1,00,000/- (one lac) to the informant and for such loan, he used to collect Rs. 800/- per day from the informant. When the informant did not make payment of aforesaid amount during the period of demonetization, this petitioner came to the shop of the informant and abused him. As

Therefore, this court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner and accordingly, his prayer for anticipatory bail stands rejected.

However, the petitioner is directed to surrender before the court below and seek regular bail, which shall be considered and disposed off on its own merit without being prejudiced by this order.
