It is the grievance of the petitioner that his father's name has been wrongly spelt in the marks-sheet and other documents issued by the Central Board of Secondary Education in respect of AISSE (X). The only grievance of the petitioner is that the correct spelling of his father's name is Birendra Kumar Tiwary whereas the name has been spelt as Virendra Kumar Tiwary in the said doduments. The petitioner's request has been turned down by the Central Board of Secondary Education by communication dated 27/29.12.2016, hence, being time barred. Earlier one year period was prescribed within which an application for correction of entries in the certificate could be made. The period has subsequently been extended to five years. In that view of the matter, I dispose of the writ application with a direction to the Central Board of Secondary Education to take a decision afresh and considering the trivial

Patna High Court CWJC No.5943 of 2017 (2) dt.16-01-2018 2/2 nature of the claim of the petitioner, take a favourable decision within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
