2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Bhadaur P.S. Case No. 19 of 2024 registered for the offence under Sections 376, 316 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 4/6 of the POCSO Act.

3. From the perusal of the FIR it is apparent that there is direct and specific allegation against the petitioner of committing rape with the minor daughter of the informant and when she became pregnant he forcibly got her pregnancy aborted by kidnapping her from her house in the night.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the nature of the accusation and the gravity of the offence, this Court is not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, this application for regular bail stands rejected. The petitioner may renew his prayer for bail after the deposition of the victim girl is recorded in the trial. (Sandeep Kumar, J) Shishir/- U T
