The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Tiyar P.S. case No. 20 of 1999 under Section 25 (1-B) A & 26 of the Arms Act. The police raided the house of petitioner but the petitioner and one Ramashish Bind managed to flee away. The house of the petitioner was searched and from his house one country made gun was recovered. One country made rifle was also recovered from the house of Ramashish Bind.

It appears that the case is of the year 1999 and the petitioner has been absconding for last 18 years. Thereafter, the petitioner filed this petition for anticipatory bail. Considering the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
