The Petitioner seeks bail in Gopalpur P.S. Case No. 40 of 2016 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 47/51 of the Bihar Excise Amendment Act.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner has clean antecedent. The petitioner is in custody since 18.11.2016.

It is alleged that total 30 litres of mahua country made liquor were recovered from the possession of the petitioner. Keeping in view the clean antecedent of the petitioner and the period spent by him in the custody, prayer of the

Let the Petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bettiah, West Champaran in connection with Gopalpur P.S. Case No. 40 of 2016, subject to the conditions that both the bailors shall be the close relative of the petitioner.
