2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Chicksaura P.S. Case No. 91 of 2023 registered for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 12.08.2023 and there is recovery of twenty five litres of country made liquor from his possession.

4. Learned APP has vehemently opposed the prayer of bail.

5. Considering the period of custody and recovery of liquor from his possession, this application for regular bail is allowed.

6. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.72739 of 2023(2) dt.09-11-2023 2/2 bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Excise Act-cum-A.D.J.-V, Nalanda at Bihar Sharif in connection with Chicksaura P.S. Case No. 91 of 2023 .

7. The petitioner will visit Chik Saura Police Station on the first Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would result in cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner.
