This is an application for grant of regular bail to the petitioner, who is accused in Bagha (Pathkhouli) P.S. Case No. 24 of 2017 for offence under Section 30 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition Excise Act.

Petitioner is in custody since 16.01.2017. From perusal of F.I.R. it appears that petitioner is involved in selling of illicit liquor.

In para- 3 of the petition there is statement that petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

The statement on behalf of the petitioner is that the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.20339 of 2017 (3) dt.31-05-2017 2/2 alleged liquor has not been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner.

In view of the facts and circumstance mentioned above, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Bettiah West Champaran or his successor Court, in connection with Bagha (Pathkhouli) P.S. Case No. 24 of 2017, subject to the condition that he will extend full co-operation in the case and will not, in any manner, influence the witnesses or the evidence. (Anil Kumar Upadhyay, J.)
