In view of the aforesaid, the present writ petition is disposed of as withdrawn with a liberty to the petitioner to invoke the departmental remedy available to him. It is further directed that in case the petitioner files an appropriate application/ appeal before the competent authority within a period of two weeks from today, the same shall be heard on merits and disposed of within a period of four weeks thereafter without being influenced by the fact that the same has been filed after a delay.
