The petitioners seek bail in anticipation of their arrest in connection with Majhaulia P.S. Case No. 485 of 2017 dated 13.12.2017 instituted for the offences under Sections 366, 379, 497 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The wife of the informant was seen by his mother sleeping with one Mahesh Ram, a neighbour of the informant. Sensing that such amorous relationship of the wife of the informant was seen by her mother of the informant, Mahesh Ram gagged the mother of the informant and with the help of the wife of the informant,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.24669 of 2018(2) dt.25-04-2018 2/2 took away belongings from the house. When the informant came to learn about this, he went to the house of the aforesaid Mahesh Ram when the petitioners who are related to Mahesh Ram did not take any interest in the matter but only abused the informant.

Considering the nature of accusation against the petitioners as also taking into account the 164 statement of the wife of the informant wherein she has stated that she had run away from her matrimonial home because of a dispute with her mother-in-law, the petitioners above named are directed to be released on bail, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, on their furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, West Champaran at Bettiah in connection with Majhaulia P.S.
