2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Korma P.S. Case No.82 of 2020, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, sister of informant (deceased) was married with the petitioner prior to 8 years. It is alleged that the accused persons including the petitioner were demanding dowry and on non-fulfillment of the said dowry demand they committed the murder of informant's sister by strangulating her neck.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the husband of the deceased and has been falsely

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.73941 of 2024(5) dt.05-03-2025 2/2 implicated in this case. He further submits that at the time of occurrence, petitioner was at Delhi for his livelihood. There is general allegation against the petitioner. The petitioner is in jail custody since 08.05.2024 and charge sheet has already been filed against the petitioner. Learned counsel further submits that similarly situated co-accused persons have been granted bail by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide orders dated 24.11.2022 & 19.05.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No.45356 of 2022 & Cr. Misc. No.21605 of 2023.

5. Learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions of learned counsel for the parties, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M.- Sheikhpura in connection with Korma P.S.
