2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Dumara P.S. Case No. 660 of 2022 instituted for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 498A, 494, 379, 504, 506, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per prosecution case, the accusation against the accused persons including the petitioner is of harassing and torturing the informant for non-fulfillment of dowry demand of Rs. 5,00,000/- and, ultimately, the informant was ousted from her matrimonial home after snatching her belongings.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence as alleged against him and has falsely been implicated in the present case. The petitioiner is the husband of the informant. He further submits that the petitioner has neither demanded any dowry nor tortured her in any manner. It is further submitted that the petitioner being husband of the informant is always ready to keept the informant as his wife with all respect and dignity but, the informant is not ready to live with the petitioner for the reason best known to her. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the matter was referred to the Mediation Centre for reconciliation but, the same could not succeed. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is languishing in judicial custody since 31.07.2025 without any rhymes or reason.

5. On the other hand, learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of bail to the petitioner, stating that the petitioner is the husband of the informant.

Having heard rival contention of both the parties and considering the entire facts and circumstances of the case as also taking into account the period of custody of the petitioner and the petitioner having no criminal antecedent, let the petitioner, abovenamed, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Court below/concerned Court in connection with Dumara P.S. Case No. 660 of 2022.
