The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Digha P.S. Case No. 283/2017 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 144/145/146/147/148/149/114/115/323/ 342/307/353/395/397/186/332/333/336/337/338/427/504 of the Indian Penal Code and 27 of the Arms Act.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits there was some general agitation in the area in which several persons became violent and indulged in the act of vandalism, the petitioner is said to be one of them. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that several other similarly situated persons have been extended the privilege of anticipatory bail vide orders dated 09.11.2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 53277 of 2017, dated 10.11.2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 51863 of 2017 and order dated
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.16682 of 2018 (2) dt.11-04-2018 2/2 12.12.2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 59228 of 2017. In view of the aforementioned facts and that the petitioner being similarly placed, let the petitioner in the event of his arrest / surrender within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, be directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the each amount to the satisfaction of the learned S.D.J.M., Patna, in connection with Digha P.S. Case No. 283/2017, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr. P.C.
